1. What we are

PawFind is a classifieds and advertising platform. We provide a place to advertise pets for sale or adoption and a free board to report lost and found pets. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, or take custody of any animal, and we do not process payment for the sale of any animal.

2. Listing fees

Sellers pay a fee to publish a marketplace listing. This fee is for the advertisement only and is non-refundable once a listing is submitted for review, except where required by law. The lost-and-found board is free.

3. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• You must verify your email and phone number before posting.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

4. Your responsibilities as a lister

• You confirm that each listing complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including animal-welfare, breeding, and sale regulations.
• You must have the legal right to rehome or sell the animal.
• Your content must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
• Prohibited, endangered, venomous, or otherwise restricted animals may be removed during review.

5. Prohibited conduct

Do not post fraudulent, abusive, or illegal content; harass other users; scrape or spam; misrepresent an animal's health or history; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. We review listings and may reject or remove content at our discretion.

6. Transactions between users

Any sale, adoption, payment, or exchange of an animal happens directly between users, off-platform, at your own risk. We strongly encourage in-person meetings, veterinary checks, and written agreements. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user or the condition of any animal.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawFind is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute, loss, or harm arising from a transaction or interaction between users.

8. Moderation & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and remove content at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your settings; your listings and reports will be removed or anonymized.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
